Myrtle Beach August 2009

We went to Myrtle Beach in August for an extended weekend. The girls had a blast playing on the beach and in the ocean! We were glad the Manheimers were able to join us for a couple of days too!

Memorial day weekend was enjoyed in Charleston with the Manheimers and Pirozzi's. We had one nice day to play on the beach and went to the Charleston Aquarium the day it rained. The girls loved seeing all of the different sea life!

More Walking!

It's amazing how quickly Sydney has improved her walking. In just a little over a week she has gone from taking 6 to 7 steps without holding onto anything to walking from the den all the way to the laundry room! I really am going to be chasing after two very soon!

Sydney Walks!

Here is Sydney walking (I can't figure out how to rotate the video)! At fourteen and a half months she has started letting go and is walking all by herself. She is pretty cautious, but I almost can't blame her because she has to watch out to not get knocked over by Emerson. Go Sydney!

Emerson Turns Three!

Although we had been celebrating all weekend, Emerson's actual birthday was on Monday. I took her for a special birthday breakfast at Panera before going to school. That afternoon, I brought cupcakes to school for her to share with her friends and teachers. We wrapped up the day with swim lessons and a trip to Chick-fil-A for dinner. We officially have a three year old now!

Birthday Weekend!

Saturday afternoon was spent napping and lounging around the house. Emerson enjoyed playing with her new basketball goal from Auntie E and playing on the swing set Will put in the backyard last week. That night we had a yummy dinner at Carabba's.
